Luz e Som installed AV equipment on the Porto stand of the prestige brand Aston Martin, on Boavista Avenue.

 New EDP facilities with Luz e Som

EDP is already running the new facilities at Porto. The two six-story buildings gathered employees spread over 16 different locations, opened on 13 April 2011

The building comprises the exhibition center, 40 meeting rooms, a exhibition center, cafeteria, gift shop and an auditorium.

Luz e Som was selected to carry out multiple installations of audio visual equipment and lighting control in buildings, including the EDP Shop, seven rooms of EDP University, car parks, boardrooms and the auditorium .

In the sixth floor Luz e Som was also invited to equip the administration room. With two projection screens on opposite sides, and an Audipack lift with two video projectors, the control management is in charge of Extron wich also receives signals videoconferencing. Luz e Som chose to control the complex audiovisual and lighting and curtains with a Crestron processor, and the push-button interface iPad and also wall buttons.

The EDP auditorium has a capacity of 280. The sound comes from an assortment of professional Tannoy speakers and Sonance (foyer) amplified by Cloud equipment. The image projector Sanyo 6500 ANSI lumens is deployed on two Oray tensioned electric screens.

All the auditorium signals, including the ceiling motorized camera, from several boxes from the stage floor and, are run by one Extron matrix. The digital DALI lighting ballasts implied. The control interface was in charge of its panels and Crestron processor. On the control room, there is a 48 channels mixer. The auditorium also has video-conferencing software with high-definition multi-point and data-sharing, so it is fully prepared to receive any type of event.

Concerning corporate TV, Luz e Som chose, as might be expected, the Hantarex professional screens, with one 57' 'Hantarex Quadro at each entrance, and several 32''.
