Luz e Som helps André's dream come true
Recently, the Land of Dreams, charitable organization, wich main purpose is to fulfill the dreams of children and adolescents diagnosed with chronic diseases and / or in advanced stages, received a nomination for a dream by the Hospital Maria Pia, on the André. André has a chronic disease, which hampers the mobility. For this reason, André spends much time at home, with the passion to music, more specifically, mixing music.
André's dream was to meet the DJ Overule, a reference to him. This dream came true on 18 January, the day that Andre was 14: a great surprise was prepared in the intimate space at Porto 13/14 Bar, that the 3 owners kindly provided to the party. What Andre thought was "a snack with friends," became a memorable evening where Andre made not only a dream to visit the DJ Overule, but also have the opportunity to be mixing music with him.
But the surprises did not stop there! Andre still had the dream of having a course of DJ, where he could learn from a professional music mixing. With the precious help of Planet Deejay, who offered a 10 hours course toAndre's 10 Hours, Andre will also realize this dream.
It was also through the contribution of the Light and Sound, who offered a pair of amplified speakers, that Andre will be able to complete the equipment he has at home and listen to music making.
The motto of Dreamland is "A smile is everything"! And with the support of all partners who agreed to be next to the Dreamland, Andre will certainly smile a lot.
